Saturday Storytime with author Lori Richmond "Bunny Business (Mama's Day at Work)"
Don’t miss author-illustrator Lori Richmond as she reads her new book “Bunny Business (Mama’s Day at Work)” on Saturday June 20 at 10am for Succeed2gether and the Montclair Literary Festival’s Storytime Saturday via Zoom. Suitable for children ages 4 to 6. Registration required.

It's morning when Mama gets the call that the bunnysitter is sick. But Papa is out of town and school is out. That means Bunny gets to go to work at Mama's office! But the big city isn't all it's cracked up to be, even with its many distractions. Boredom and hunger strike, and Bunny has to get creative to save Mama's office from the workday blues.

After the reading, Lori will have a drawing activity. Children will need three pieces of 8.5 x 11 paper and something to draw with, eg pencil, crayons, etc.

Lori Richmond is a corporate creative director turned picture-book maker and can relate all too well to travel-for-work parents and the bunnies who miss them. As a former contributing editor and spokesperson for the leading pregnancy and parenting brand, ‘The Bump’, Lori has appeared as an expert on ‘Today’, ‘Good Morning America’, CNN, and more. She works out of her studio in Brooklyn, New York, where she lives with her family. Lori is also the author-illustrator of “Pax and Blue” and has illustrated several picture books, including “A Hop Is Up”, written by Kristy Dempsey, and “Oopsie-Do”, written by Tim Kubart.

Succeed2gether’s Montclair Literary Festival is an annual event in celebration of reading and literacy which takes place in March. The festival is a fundraiser for Montclair-based non-profit Succeed2gether, which offers after-school one-on-one tutoring and enrichment classes with the aim of closing the education opportunity gap in Essex County.
