That's What She Said
in conversation with Edward Fiesenthal
Sunday, February 25, 4pm
Widespread allegations of workplace sexual harassment against Harvey Weinstein and other powerful employers and #MeToo have been trending since October. Another current has also emerged: Men who stood silently by are now searching for a way to help join the fight against sexism, and to unite with women to finally close the gender gap.
In her new book to be published by William Morrow, THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID, What Men Need to Know (and Women Need to Tell Them) About Working Together, Joanne Lipman, Chief Content Officer of Gannett and Editor in Chief of USA Today, informs how men can join with women to help close the gender gap, empower women as true equals, and create and dynamic working environment which benefits women, men and the greater good of the company.
Joanne will be in conversation about this timely issue with Montclair resident Edward Felsenthal, editor-in-chief of TIME Magazine, and previously the founding editor of The Daily Beast, and a reporter and editor for The Wall Street Journal.
The author will be signing her book, which we will have available at the end of the event.
The event is free thanks to our series sponsors. Please register to reserve a seat. Standby tickets will be available at 3:50PM at the event space permitting.
