Anderson Park Short Story Contest Deadline


 SHORT-STORY CONTEST
FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL WRITERS
 
Friends of Anderson Park is sponsoring its second annual short-story contest. Middle schoolers at all Montclair schools -- public, private, or home-schooled -- are eligible. Anderson Park must feature somehow in the story. Stories will be judged by professional authors. Winners will each receive $75 and be invited to a reading and reception at Watchung Booksellers in March.
 

CONTENT: Any genre, although language and subject matter should follow guidelines
that apply in school. Anderson Park must play a role in the story.
 
LENGTH: 500 to 2,500 words.
 
FORMAT: Typed, double-spaced, with numbered pages. The author's name, phone number, email, grade, and school name should be on every page. Address questions to andersonparkstory@gmail.com or Ann Evans at (201) 792-6892.
