TaRessa
Stovall is a veteran writer and strategic organizational communications
expert specializing in cultural perspectives. Her column, "Diverse
City," runs in the award-winning Montclair Times newspaper, and her
books include "A Love Supreme: Real-Life Stories of Black Love," "The
Buffalo Soldiers," (a young adult history book) and her debut novel,
"The Hot Spot." TaRessa has also co-edited the best-selling
anthologies, "Proverbs for the People: Contemporary African-American
Literature," and, most recently, "Other People's Skin: Four Novellas,"
a quartet of stories focusing on healing the skin-hair rift between
African American women.
