Spanish Book Club

Join us on Friday, March 26th at 7pm, for the first meeting of our newest book club, the all-Spanish "Salon Español."  Come explore new voices and rediscover favorites of contemporary Spanish and Latin American literature.  Our first session will be a meet and greet where we can pick our first book together.  We'll be doing all our reading and chatting in Spanish so polish up your skills and come on by.

Professor of Photography and Imaging at The Tisch
School of the Arts, New York University. A 2005
Guggenheim and Fletcher Fellow, Dr.Willis is one
of the nation's leading historians of African
American photography and curator of African American culture.

 

 

Dr. Willis’s newest book Posing Beauty, explores
the contested ways that African and African
American beauty have been represented in
historical and contemporary contexts through a
diverse range of media including video, fashion
and advertising.
